The Physical Therapy Program at the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse is committed to delivering excellent graduate-level education in physical therapy. Our Doctor of Physical Therapy curriculum prepares students to become well-rounded practitioners ready to enter the field. Graduates gain the ability to assess patients effectively, critically evaluate emerging research, address challenging clinical cases, and cultivate continuous learning habits. Our diverse faculty covers all key areas of physical therapy, including musculoskeletal, neuromuscular, cardiopulmonary, integumentary systems, and research. Students benefit from cutting-edge facilities in our Health Science Center, featuring advanced clinical laboratories and research spaces. The program actively collaborates with the La Crosse Institute of Movement Science (LIMS) and the Exercise Program for Adults with Neurologic Disorders (EXPAND). Furthermore, we maintain a partnership with Gundersen Health System's Sports Medicine Residency Program.
