The UWL Biology Department offers both undergraduate and graduate programs in life sciences. Students benefit from cutting-edge tools and facilities for coursework and investigations. Research positions for undergraduates span multiple biological fields, with most students getting to conduct guided independent studies with professors. Academic offerings and research projects take advantage of our local natural classrooms—the Mississippi River and La Crosse River Marsh.
Applicant must have completion of secondary or post-secondary from institution.
English Language Proficiency
Applicant must have TOEFL score of 73 with IELTS score of 6.0 and PTE score of 54. In addition completion of ELS level 112 and completion of WESLI level 700 is required.
Priority application deadlines are 15 December for the January/Spring semester and 15 July for the September/Fall semester.
