The Master of Public Health (MPH) program equips students with comprehensive academic training, hands-on experience, and interdisciplinary learning to tackle modern public health challenges. Starting in the 2020-2021 academic year, the MPH curriculum features six foundational courses completed collectively by all first-year students. Additionally, students take specialized courses aligned with their chosen focus areas. The core curriculum emphasizes ethical considerations, equity, global and community perspectives, effective communication, systems analysis, leadership development, teamwork, and the continuous cycle of translating evidence into action.

This MPH program offers extensive cross-disciplinary education in public health genetics, preparing graduates for roles in public health agencies, government organizations, academic settings, healthcare systems, and private industry. The curriculum builds expertise in genetic epidemiology, pharmacogenetics, and toxicogenomics while addressing legal, ethical, cultural, and policy dimensions. Required coursework covers epidemiology, biostatistics, genetic epidemiology, health services, environmental health, law, and bioethics. To earn the degree, students must complete a practical internship and produce an original research-based thesis.
