The Master of Public Health (MPH) program equips students with comprehensive academic training, hands-on experience, and interdisciplinary learning to tackle modern public health issues. Starting in the 2020-2021 academic year, the MPH curriculum features six foundational courses completed collectively by all first-year students. Additionally, students take specialized courses aligned with their chosen focus areas. The core curriculum emphasizes ethical considerations, health equity, global and community perspectives, effective communication, systems analysis, leadership development, and the continuous cycle of translating evidence into practice.
The Health Metrics and Evaluation (HME) Track caters to quantitatively skilled professionals aiming for careers in international research, methodological development, survey analysis, health program assessment, policy evaluation, or academic roles. This track maintains the standard MPH core requirements while integrating advanced quantitative coursework from diverse analytical fields.
