Classes covering architectural history, theory, building science, visualization, fabrication, materials and construction, design/build projects, and global studies offer additional career preparation and chances to specialize. The coursework prioritizes cultivating research abilities to synthesize various knowledge domains into design. Students in our 2-year M Arch program join at Year Two, featuring a dual-quarter design studio series paired with complementary design technology courses. These classes merge considerations of materials, structural systems, and environmental factors through team-based instruction. Year Two's core studios address diverse scales and topics, spanning from urban planning to ecological frameworks.
