The Master of Science in Architecture (M.S.) is an advanced research-focused degree designed for those pursuing specialized architectural studies. This program does not lead to professional architecture licensure. It's tailored for individuals holding an accredited B.Arch. or M.Arch. degree, or an approved bachelor's in architecture or related fields (such as art, interior design, engineering, or archaeology). Applicants without architecture degrees may need to complete preparatory coursework that doesn't count toward graduate credit. The program requires at least 28 graduate credit hours plus a thesis (6 credits) with defense. Admission to the M.S. in Architecture program requires meeting both Graduate School and Huckabee College of Architecture entry criteria.
