Our seven Master of Laws (LL.M.) programs concentrate on key contemporary legal fields, offering rigorous advanced study for attorneys. Tailored for both international law graduates and U.S. Juris Doctor holders, UW Law's LL.M. curriculum enables legal practitioners to enhance their expertise and broaden their skillset. Learners benefit from UW Law's Seattle location, immersing themselves in the city's dynamic professional landscape while accessing initiatives and collaborations that foster legal career development. Featuring six focused concentrations plus a flexible General LL.M. option, participants customize their academic path to align with career aspirations. After completing foundational coursework, students diversify their education through specialized electives spanning multiple disciplines, with opportunities to enroll in classes across UW's other schools. Situated in a global innovation epicenter, UW School of Law neighbors leading tech companies, biomedical institutions, and creative enterprises that define Seattle's vibrant business ecosystem.
