Students participate in three distinct lab rotations while attending courses covering various elements of Molecular Pharmacology. These rotations enable students to explore diverse biological challenges and experience multiple laboratory settings, eventually choosing one for their dissertation research. Designed for first-year students, the rotations offer practical exposure to theoretical frameworks and research methodologies employed across different labs. This system also helps students identify their permanent research lab through in-depth interactions with multiple research teams. Each rotation lasts one quarter in three separate research groups. During orientation week, faculty members present summaries of their research focus areas to help students identify promising avenues for investigation.
