The iSchool's Ph.D. candidates arrive with diverse professional histories and educational foundations, spanning fields like information science, social sciences, computer science, library science, legal studies, and IT.
Learning sciences researchers at the iSchool contribute to expanding our understanding of educational processes while creating novel learning systems and technological tools. By bridging disciplines like human-computer interaction, education, and information science, our research examines the reciprocal relationship between technology and learning across various environments - including educational institutions, cultural centers, social and family interactions, and digital communities.
