The doctoral program in data science, analytics, and engineering immerses participants in both theoretical and practical research.
Its academic goal is to cultivate students' capacity for pioneering research in designing and implementing data-centric approaches to address significant societal challenges. This encompasses recognizing research requirements, modifying current methodologies, and innovating new techniques when necessary. These objectives are achieved via a demanding curriculum combining research and learning opportunities.
Participants first master a core curriculum in database systems, information security, statistical modeling, and theoretical statistics, then specialize in either data analytics or data engineering. The program concludes with the completion of an original dissertation.
