The Adult-Gerontology Primary Care Nurse Practitioner (AGPCNP) concentration in the Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) program focuses on providing continuous healthcare for patients ranging from adolescents to elderly individuals, emphasizing wellness and managing severe medical conditions. This encompasses serving diverse cultural groups and medically disadvantaged populations. AGNPs play a vital role in addressing the increasing elderly demographic across the country. Graduates will gain skills to assess, identify, and treat both short-term and long-term health issues. As an AGPCNP, you'll collaborate with patients and their support networks to encourage health maintenance and illness prevention through education and guidance.
