The University of Washington Tacoma's School of Urban Studies provides a Bachelor of Arts in Sustainable Urban Development. Being among the pioneering programs of its kind in the country, this degree equips students to tackle modern demands for environmentally conscious urban growth across communities and worldwide. Alumni will gain qualifications for positions in planning departments, sustainability-focused businesses, advisory companies, nonprofit groups, and environmental/resource agencies operating at municipal, state, and national government tiers.
