Alumni of this program pursue careers with clothing, shoe, and hardgoods manufacturers as merchandisers helping retailers curate product lines, as product development specialists collaborating with buyers and designers, as forecasting analysts determining seasonal production needs, and as product innovation assistants. Many also work in retail settings as purchasing agents and inventory strategists selecting optimal product mixes, as category managers bridging buyer and design teams, as visual merchandisers, and as retail operations supervisors.
