The International Studies Program integrates social sciences and humanities to analyze global challenges and transformations. Through a varied, interdisciplinary lens, the Program motivates students to explore our interconnected world, developing skills to examine and comprehend its political systems, social structures, economic forces, and cultural dynamics. A key feature of the International Studies curriculum is the Task Force course, a culminating seminar where students research pressing worldwide policy matters, produce analytical reports, and present proposals to expert external reviewers. Outstanding undergraduate and graduate participants may also engage in Global Research Teams, delivering practical solutions to businesses and government agencies for their strategic and operational needs.
