The Interdisciplinary Arts (IA) program empowers students to cultivate skills across diverse creative domains including written, visual, performance, audio-visual, digital, and publishing arts, preparing them for the dynamic landscape of modern artistic expression. Rooted in inclusivity, the IA program champions the idea that impactful art can emerge from individuals of all social classes, ethnicities, races, nationalities, genders, abilities, and life experiences. Faculty foster critical thinking and contemporary artistic approaches to motivate students toward groundbreaking creative explorations. This degree emphasizes cultivating inventive, experimental thinking while nurturing both solo and group projects that refine artistic abilities. The curriculum features foundational courses like BISIA 319 on interdisciplinary arts theory, alongside hands-on studio workshops, equipping students with methodologies for both artistic creation and community engagement.
