Our department provides a Bachelor of Arts program featuring studies in painting, sculpture, digital media, printmaking, art theory, and graphic design. The curriculum begins with a rigorous foundations course emphasizing core principles of composition in both 2D and 3D formats. After mastering these basics, students are urged to explore diverse mediums available within the department. The program fosters the cultivation of a distinctive artistic perspective, grounded in modern art-critical approaches and technical proficiency for producing impactful contemporary artwork. Beyond coursework, students can deepen their engagement through internships and hands-on experience at the Herman Maril Gallery, our student-operated exhibition space. They also gain valuable experience by curating shows that highlight peer creations within the department.
