Gain insights into the social, cultural, economic, political, and historical frameworks of media through coursework including: Media evolution, theoretical perspectives, and analytical approaches, Hands-on training in print, video, or digital platforms, Internet studies, Cinema, and Public communications. The Communication major provides both professional and academic pathways to tailor your studies. Electives can be selected from other IAS School programs or UW Tacoma's undergraduate offerings. Transfer students typically require two years to fulfill degree requirements.
