The Cell Biology PhD program delivers exceptional education in a dynamic and fast-growing scientific discipline. Our rigorous curriculum focuses on innovative research, cross-disciplinary courses, and specialized seminars. Students can investigate core biological questions across diverse domains such as cellular molecular processes, growth and differentiation control, migratory cell interactions, developmental patterning, and the formation of cellular structures and tissues. This training in cellular and developmental biology serves as a foundation both for groundbreaking scientific advances and for deciphering connections to human disorders where essential biological processes - including cytoskeleton function, membrane transport, cellular signaling, division, adhesion, movement, mechanical sensing, and polarity - become disrupted.
