The Bachelor of Science in Chemistry (B.S.) with a focus on Materials Science is an accredited professional program that meets American Chemical Society certification standards when certain criteria are fulfilled. This degree equips students for careers in chemistry through its rigorous curriculum. The program features advanced 400-level coursework in foundational chemistry areas (CHEM 1410, 1420), organic chemistry (CHEM 2410, 2420), and physical chemistry (CHEM 3410, 3420), all including laboratory components. The minimum paper-based TOEFL score requirement is usually 600, and the minimum IELTS score requirement is 7.0.
