The Anthropology department provides Master of Arts (M.A.) and Master of Science (M.S.) degrees across four specialized tracks: Biological Anthropology, Archaeology, Cultural Evolution, Cognition and Behavior, and Evolutionary Ecology. Graduate students typically focus their studies within one of these disciplines and are advised to engage in research activities early in their academic journey.
The M.A. and M.S. programs are structured as two-year curricula. Students earn their degree after fulfilling all course requirements and passing the master's comprehensive examination.
