The S.J. Quinney College of Law, in collaboration with the Political Science Department, has established a dual-degree initiative allowing students to earn both a Juris Doctor (J.D.) and a Master of Public Administration (M.P.A.) concurrently. Participants in this combined program can apply a maximum of 12 law school credits toward the M.P.A.'s 42-credit requirement, while also transferring up to 12 M.P.A. credits to satisfy the J.D.'s 88-credit obligation. Successful candidates will graduate with two distinct qualifications: a J.D. conferred by the College of Law and an M.P.A. granted by the Political Science Department.
