The Master of Arts in Spanish Language Pedagogy (MALP) program immerses students in three core academic domains: language teaching methods, second language learning processes, and the literary and cultural studies of Spanish-speaking regions. This curriculum emphasizes cultivating professional competencies while empowering students to analyze and implement scholarly works within the field. Graduates of the MALP program gain qualifications to instruct adult learners at colleges, universities, or private high schools, or to pursue advanced studies in language acquisition, research methodologies, and teaching strategies. Note that this program doesn't provide certification for public school teaching. MALP participants may choose to complete a year of study in Oviedo, Spain as part of their academic journey.
