The Master of Arts in Language Pedagogy (MALP) program immerses students in three core academic domains: language teaching methods, second language learning processes, and the literature and cultural studies of their chosen language. This curriculum emphasizes building professional competencies while fostering the ability to analyze and implement scholarly works within the field. Graduates gain qualifications to instruct adult learners at colleges, universities, or private high schools, or to pursue advanced studies in second language acquisition, research methodologies, and teaching approaches. The MALP offers five concentration options: Chinese, Japanese, Portuguese, Russian, and Spanish.
