The Scientific Computing specialization equips students to conduct pioneering research across the entire scientific computing spectrum: from mathematical and geometric modeling to advanced simulation techniques including high-performance computing and parallel processing, numerical algorithm development, data visualization, and scientific validation. Each year, around 100 graduate students join the program, with equal numbers pursuing master's and doctoral degrees. The program maintains selective admission criteria, resulting in intense competition for available spots. Applicants are assessed based on their academic achievements and demonstrated research capabilities.
