The Robotics Track offers a specialized curriculum available through either the School of Computing or Mechanical Engineering Department. Robotics has grown far beyond its industrial roots, now encompassing areas like self-driving vehicles, medical robotics, intelligent sensor systems, miniature robots, automated cleaners, security robots, and companion robots. Each year, around 100 graduate students enroll, evenly distributed between master's and doctoral candidates. With selective admission criteria, the program maintains intense competition for its limited spots. Applicants are assessed on both their academic achievements and research capabilities.
