Under the guidance of our diverse faculty, you'll gain specialized knowledge in upstream, midstream, and downstream petroleum operations.
Our challenging, multidisciplinary program blends theoretical knowledge with hands-on learning, enabling you to explore diverse energy sectors such as renewable fuels, power generation, and energy conservation.
We provide both bachelor's and master's degree programs featuring small class sizes led by distinguished faculty members who participate in professional organizations and conduct cutting-edge research bridging business, science, and technology.
Graduates enter the workforce equipped for careers across multiple industries, from traditional oil and gas firms to pipeline operators, refineries, utility providers, and financial services. Students benefit from direct access to TU professors, energy professionals, and sector specialists.
The university facilitates energy industry internships throughout the academic year and summer months. Notable alumni have secured positions at leading organizations including XTO Energy, Kaiser-Francis, Devon Energy, Chevron, Anadarko Petroleum, Delta Air Lines, Williams Companies, Cimarex Energy, and the Oklahoma Department of Environmental Quality.
