The Bachelor of Science in Computer Science program holds accreditation from ABET's Computing Accreditation Commission. At The University of Tulsa, the Tandy School of Computer Science equips students with both academic instruction and research possibilities that pave the way for rewarding careers in cybersecurity, video game development, or data protection, along with pathways to advanced studies.
The Tandy School presents three distinct Bachelor of Science degree tracks: computer science, information technology, and computer simulation and gaming. This academic framework gives students comprehensive knowledge in digital systems theory, design principles, and practical applications.
Students can further enhance their education by participating in community initiatives that introduce computer science and IT concepts to younger learners in nearby elementary schools.
Program Objectives
