The Master of Arts program offers an extensive overview of core principles in contemporary mathematics, ideal for aspiring community college instructors or future doctoral candidates. This 30-credit curriculum mandates introductory two-semester sequences in algebra, topology, and real analysis, plus a semester of complex analysis. Participants must also finish an advanced sequence in either algebra, topology, differential geometry, differential equations, or real/complex analysis.
