The EECS Department aims to train the next generation of engineers and scientists in electrical engineering and computer science disciplines, advance knowledge in these fields through research, and create innovative solutions for various technological and societal challenges. Currently, the Electrical Engineering and Computer Science Department provides graduate studies culminating in Master of Science degrees in Electrical Engineering (M.S.E.E) and Engineering (M.S.E), along with a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D) in Engineering. This academic unit focuses on electrical energy processing and transformation, covering areas like high-power electronic circuits, power switching components, and systems that transform electrical energy into other forms.
