The University of Toledo's College of Nursing offers a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (B.S.N.) degree program. Our alumni pursue careers as registered nurses across diverse environments such as hospitals, educational institutions, correctional facilities, and academic settings. UToledo's B.S.N. graduates enter the workforce with comprehensive training, enabling them to work in multiple healthcare contexts including medical centers, outpatient clinics, educational systems, and detention facilities. Our program prepares students for specialized nursing roles including travel nursing, forensic nursing, research positions, nursing instruction, consulting, aeromedical services, and military healthcare.

There are two admission pathways to our competitive B.S.N. program:
Direct Admission Pathway. You will be directly admitted to the B.S.N. program as a freshman. Admission requirements include:
3.6 GPA and 23 ACT/1130 SAT or 3.8 GPA for test-optional applicants
Must maintain a 3.5 GPA at UToledo to keep your guaranteed seat in the program
Pre-Nursing Pathway. You must complete two years of a pre-nursing curriculum and then apply to the professional sequence of the B.S.N. program. Admission requirements include:
2.75 GPA and 19 ACT/990 SAT or 3.0 GPA for test-optional applicant
IELTS overall band 6.0, TOEFL internet-based 71, TOEFL paper-based 527, PTE (Pearson Test of English) Academic overall score 48.
