The Master of Arts in Curriculum and Instruction with Teaching certification (MACIT) serves professionals pursuing advanced study in education while obtaining middle school (grades 4-8) or high school (grades 7-12) teaching credentials. Admission requires acceptance into both the graduate degree program and the Teacher Certification Program. MACIT coursework examines curriculum frameworks, instructional strategies, and inclusive teaching approaches for diverse learners. The program incorporates hands-on classroom experiences, allowing students to implement their graduate learning in real-world educational settings. All MACIT candidates conclude their studies by compiling a comprehensive professional portfolio.
