The Master of Education in Curriculum and Instruction caters to certified middle school, high school, and ESL teachers looking to deepen their expertise in teaching methods and subject matter while connecting advanced learning with classroom practice. The program also offers a Curriculum Leadership track for educators without licensure who wish to enhance their understanding of curriculum development and instructional strategies. Participants develop the competencies, insights, attitudes, and capabilities needed to take on leadership positions.
Upon completion, graduates demonstrate thorough teaching expertise, theoretical understanding, and reflective practice that informs their instructional approaches, adaptability, and teamwork. They then disseminate this refined knowledge to fellow educators through various leadership channels. The program's structure aligns with both the College's Conceptual Framework and its defined objectives.
