At UTSA, the Computer Science Department provides extensive academic programs for both bachelor's and advanced degree seekers, currently serving about 1,761 undergrads, 135 master's candidates, and 65 PhD scholars. The Computer Science PhD enables students to pursue in-depth investigations across diverse specialties. These research initiatives and lab resources receive strong backing through multiple federal research and infrastructure funding awards.
The Computer Science Department provides a Master of Science in Computer Science, a Master of Science in Cybersecurity Science, a Doctor of Philosophy in Computer Science, and a Graduate Certificate in Cloud Computing.
