UTSA's Public Health program caters to individuals seeking expertise across diverse health disciplines including biostatistics, environmental science, epidemiology, health policy, communication strategies, and behavioral health. This curriculum equips graduates for careers in government health departments at all levels, as well as private and non-profit health institutions.
Preparing HCAP students for professional success remains our foremost commitment. HCAP features a specialized internship coordinator who partners with employers to facilitate practical training and career guidance. HCAP students have collectively completed more than 140,000 internship hours. The program integrates hands-on learning through undergraduate research, fieldwork, and internship placements. The HCAP Student Success Center further enhances career readiness with professional development resources and leadership training beyond traditional coursework.
