The Bachelor of Science in Geology is a professional degree that equips graduates for various career paths in geology, spanning the mining, energy, environmental sectors, and government roles. Transfer students benefit from an accelerated course schedule designed to facilitate on-time degree completion. This BS program delivers comprehensive training in geological principles alongside essential chemistry, physics, and mathematics coursework. The curriculum culminates in intensive three-week field courses where students tackle real-world challenges and create professional-grade reports. Faculty-mentored research opportunities are available, with academic credit offered through research or internship courses.
