Finance integrates key aspects of income, spending, and risk that businesses evaluate during strategic decision-making. The finance curriculum at UT Dallas's Naveen Jindal School of Management equips students with sought-after quantitative, analytical, and critical thinking abilities valued by corporations, government agencies, and nonprofit organizations.
Alumni pursue roles as financial analysts or advisors. The undergraduate finance program readies students for the Chartered Financial Analyst Level 1 test while also meeting partial educational prerequisites for the Certified Financial Planner exam. These credentials prove valuable for professionals in investment management or personal wealth planning. Students pursuing analytical careers can opt for a dual major combining finance with economics.
