The MPAff dual degree program offered in collaboration with the Cockrell School of Engineering equips engineering and public affairs students for government careers and engineering-related policy roles. Graduates work across various sectors, including municipal, state, and federal agencies, engineering consultancies, academic institutions, and private industries. This integrated program allows participants to obtain both an MPAff and a Master of Science degree concurrently. Typically, completing this rigorous curriculum requires at least two academic years of full-time study.

A grade-point average (GPA) of at least 3.0 (on a 4.0 scale) or a comparable GPA in upper-division workjunior- and senior-level coursesand in any graduate work already completed is also required.
International students also must submit TOEFL scores. We do not accept the IELTS.
