The First Professional Master of Landscape Architecture degree serves students without prior training in landscape architecture or an LAAB-accredited landscape architecture degree. This professional program holds accreditation from the Landscape Architecture Accreditation Board (LAAB).

Qualification Requirements

Statement of purpose - submit a 1,000-1,500 word essay describing your reasons for pursuing graduate study in planning and your academic and professional interests and goals.

The graduate school requires applicants to have earned a bachelor's degree from a regionally accredited institution in the United States or a comparable degree from a foreign academic institution.
A grade-point average (GPA) of at least 3.0 (on a 4.0 scale) or a comparable GPA in upper-division workjunior- and senior-level coursesand in any graduate work already completed is also required. If your GPA does not meet the minimum requirementor if you feel that your GPA is not a valid indicator of your abilityyou may submit an application, then use the Document Upload System to add a letter explaining your concerns.
