The MPAff dual degree program, offered in partnership with the UT School of Information, merges in-depth government and policy studies with specialized training for careers in information-focused institutions like government offices, libraries, educational institutions, and cultural centers. Professionals who blend these skill sets are increasingly sought after across sectors, especially those with expertise in cutting-edge digital and networked information systems.
This accelerated program allows students to complete both degrees in roughly three years. Graduates receive their diplomas upon finishing all required coursework, including the professional report, for both disciplines.

A grade-point average (GPA) of at least 3.0 (on a 4.0 scale) or a comparable GPA in upper-division workjunior- and senior-level coursesand in any graduate work already completed is also required.
International students also must submit TOEFL scores. We do not accept the IELTS.
