The MGPS dual degree program, offered in partnership with the Jackson School of Geosciences' Energy and Earth Resources department, merges comprehensive globalization studies with geoscience and natural resource education. This joint program delivers in-depth knowledge of scientific, technical, administrative, and regulatory dimensions concerning energy, minerals, and water resources. Designed for efficiency, students can complete both degrees concurrently in about three years, receiving their diplomas upon fulfilling all academic requirements for both disciplines.
By blending a challenging, multidisciplinary foundation with numerous specialization options, we equip our students for diverse policy-oriented careers spanning national security, intelligence services, diplomatic relations, international development initiatives, global governance frameworks, energy sectors, trade policies, and environmental regulation.
