LLILAS collaborates with multiple professional degree programs at UT to provide dual degree options. These structured programs enable students to obtain two master's degrees concurrently. Pursuing dual degrees expands academic horizons and strengthens career readiness by allowing students to work toward two complementary graduate qualifications. Typically completed in three years, these programs extend to four years for the Law School partnership.
The Latin American Studies/Business Administration dual degree (major code 659000) appeals to graduate students aiming for business careers with a Latin American focus. UT's McCombs School of Business ranks among the nation's top institutions. This program's alumni possess strong qualifications for business roles connected to Latin America, blending rigorous business education with interdisciplinary regional studies and language training. This combination addresses growing demand in both public and private sectors for business professionals with deep knowledge of Latin American political and cultural landscapes.
