The University of Texas at Austin College of Pharmacy maintains established, comprehensive graduate programs in pharmaceutical sciences and translational research. Our graduate studies aim to cultivate both broad intellectual understanding and specialized expertise for careers in academia, research, or advanced clinical practice. Pharmaceutical Science encompasses multiple disciplines including chemical biology, medicinal chemistry, drug formulation, pharmacology, toxicology, clinical therapeutics, and health outcomes research. Prospective graduate students choose a specialized track aligned with their academic interests. The College provides a Ph.D. program across all pharmaceutical science disciplines and an M.S. program focused specifically on pharmacotherapy and health outcomes research.
