The Aerospace Engineering (ASE) graduate program at The University of Texas at Austin ranks among the nation's top 10, providing students the chance to conduct groundbreaking research alongside renowned faculty. This program enables students to pursue in-depth studies and research culminating in either a Master of Science or Doctor of Philosophy degree. Alumni establish careers as aerospace engineers, researchers, innovators, astronauts, executives, and industry pioneers.
Our curriculum facilitates advanced studies and research for both Master of Science in Engineering and Doctor of Philosophy degrees in aerospace engineering. While a Bachelor of Science in aerospace engineering or a related engineering field is typically required, applicants with science or mathematics degrees may also qualify after completing necessary preparatory coursework.

Qualification Requirements
Students must have a bachelor’s degree from a regionally accredited institution in the United States or a comparable degree from a foreign academic institution. A grade point average of at least 3.00 in upper-division (junior- and senior-level) coursework and in any graduate work already completed.
