The UTA Master of Science in Athletic Training program boasts distinguished faculty, seasoned clinical mentors, diverse clinical placement opportunities, and exceptional sports medicine resources. Through comprehensive classroom and lab training, students gain expertise in injury prevention, evaluation, diagnosis, emergency care, and rehabilitation techniques for musculoskeletal injuries and common health issues affecting active populations. This two-year, cohort-style professional program at UT Arlington prepares graduates for the BOC certification exam and state licensure, paving the way for successful athletic training careers.
Earned Bachelor’s degree, with an undergraduate cumulative GPA of 3.0, or a 3.0 GPA during the last 60 hours of undergraduate course work.

TWO-YEAR PROGRAM

ACCELERATED (3+2) PROGRAM
Must be within 30 hours of graduation with a BS in EXS
Must have completed at least 30 hours of study at UTA with a 3.3 GPA or better
A 3.3 overall GPA for all college courses
For IELTS, we require a minimum score of 6.5.
TOEFL internet-based- 79 (with sectional scores of 22 writing, 21 speaking, 20 reading, or 16 listening)
Duolingo, we require a minimum score of 100.
