The Exercise Physiology graduate specialization prepares students for research-oriented careers in exercise physiology and related disciplines. Our curriculum equips graduates with expertise applicable to diverse professional settings, from fitness centers in commercial, corporate, and healthcare environments to clinical practice. Students gain in-depth knowledge of physiological principles applied to exercise across various populations and environmental conditions. Through hands-on training, participants master laboratory techniques and develop essential research skills for their academic projects.
The program additionally trains students to bridge communication gaps between medical professionals and the general public regarding exercise's health benefits. Beyond fulfilling university graduation criteria, our graduates acquire competencies that prepare them for national certification examinations in clinical practice and fitness/strength training across multiple professional associations.
Our alumni regularly present master's and doctoral research at prestigious conferences, including the American College of Sports Medicine's national and regional gatherings, among other professional forums.
