The Master of Fine Arts in Arts: Intermedia Studio combines diverse technical, conceptual, and artistic approaches. This program promotes boundary-crossing creativity, merging different disciplines while fostering common creative vocabularies. Students are challenged to move beyond traditional methods, working in a cooperative setting that strengthens ties between various media forms, studio practice, technological innovation, and theoretical examination.

To prepare for professional artistic careers, Intermedia Studio graduate students engage in cross-disciplinary projects utilizing departmental and university resources. The program also motivates students to contribute to campus and local cultural activities, take part in professional events, showcase their work, and collaborate with relevant nonprofit organizations when opportunities arise.
