The Department of Communication provides advanced studies culminating in either a PhD or a final master's degree. This curriculum concentrates on the academic exploration of communication dynamics, featuring courses dedicated to communication principles and investigative approaches. Graduates are equipped for careers in higher education, corporate sectors, and public service.
In addition to the online admissions form, applicants must submit the following materials. All documents must be attached to your online application, with the exception of your official GRE score sheet, which you must request from ETS:
Three letters of recommendation
Unofficial transcript(s) from every institution you have previously attended (official transcripts will be required after acceptance)
A personal statement that explains your background, educational and career aims, and reasons for applying to this department
One writing sample (term paper, published article, or convention paper)
CV/resume
