The UTA College of Education offers four distinct pathways to earn a master's degree, delivering the adaptability you desire alongside individualized guidance. You can pursue online programs in literacy, mathematics, and science education, or customize face-to-face coursework for your master's journey. Select the degree path that aligns with your aspirations. The literacy studies master's program equips classroom educators and district specialists with advanced knowledge in literacy instruction.
This program also leads to Texas certifications in English as a Second Language (ESL supplemental) and Reading Specialist (RS) for eligible Texas-certified teachers.
Educators outside Texas should verify with their state's licensing board about securing RS and ESL credentials after degree completion.
Our accredited preparation program boasts exceptional certification exam success rates.
