The graduate program offers avenues for career growth through various means, including: technical courses to strengthen engineering skills, hands-on training in design, research, experimentation, and analysis alongside faculty and fellow students, specialized studies for mechanical engineering-related careers, mentored independent research with faculty guidance, and interdisciplinary coursework for diverse career paths. With faculty advising, each student designs a personalized curriculum aligned with their technical focus and available resources. Programs generally fall into these categories: Thermal Science
Fluid Science, Mechanical Design and Production, Solid Mechanics and Structural Engineering, Control Systems and Automation.
An overall GPA, as calculated by the Graduate School, of 3.3 or higher in undergraduate coursework.
The program will give preference to students with IELTS score of 6.5, or TOEFL-iBT total score of 84.
Graduate Application Priority Dates - Fall: March 15; Spring: August 15; Summer: February 15.
