This program pursues the dual purpose of investigating nanotechnology's capacity to meet present worldwide technological demands while serving as an educational foundation for training the upcoming workforce. Course content can be delivered online when requested to serve industry professionals without regular campus access. The certificate is available to all current science and engineering students and bachelor's degree holders in these fields. For individuals without a completed bachelor's degree, the Certificate in Nanotechnology will be issued at the same time as their undergraduate degree. The finished certificate curriculum will be submitted to the Office of Admissions, Records and Registration for authentication and inclusion on the student's academic record. The university will create an official certificate for the student, and acknowledgment will occur during graduation events.
